ElectraGlaze ESD floor finish is a unique, wear resistant, yet cost effective static control wax for use in static control (esd safe) environments. ElectraGlaze is recommended for use on all ESD vinyl tiles, sheet goods and epoxy. ElectraGlaze also works GREAT on all STANDARD (non esd) hard surface flooring. When used in conjunction with static conductive esd flooring ElectraGlaze provides superior shine, slip, wear and scuff resistance. 2 thin costs slightly raise the insulative properties of the flooring but the reduction in maintenance cost is well worth the modest sacrifice in conductivity. 2 thin coats applied to a static conductive vinyl or epoxy do not typically exceed the new ANSI / ESD recommended electrical resistance limits of >3.5E07 per ESD 97.1 testing. When used on Standard (non esd floors) 5 thin coats will typically bring the electrical resistance to <1.0E09 @ 50% relative humidity. This range of electrical conductivity does not meet the new ANSI/ESD S20.20-2007 criteria for performance but is useful for reduction of nuisance static and for meeting the older ESD S20.20 standards.
