These mats must be shipped flat – they can not be rolled for transport. Due to the girth of the mats marked with an ASTERISK (in the select a size drop down menu) they are not eligible for shipping VIA UPS. They MUST be shipped via motor freight. Multiple quantities of ASTERISKED mats are palletized and economical to ship. Single ASTERISKED mats are much more expensive to ship. The shipping calculator for ASTERISKED mats is set to ESTIMATE the shipping cost of a motor freight carrier. Actual cost may vary. REAL static control protection that MEETS the latest ANSI ESD Standards. Designed for use over very thick or padded carpet, these robust structures are portable ESD floors for mission critical workstations and labs.

Our mission critical ESD mats are manufactured in Colorado using our Titanium Static Conductive (not mere anti static) ElectraLock 3 mm thick interlocking tiles. This material features an unbelievably hard wear resistant top surface laminated to a full surface conductive backing thus providing ULTIMATE static conductivity in all environments and at all humidity levels.

Using our proprietary conductive odor free adhesive we laminate this material to our Green Core S2S Electrically Insulative Engineered Plywood. We smooth the edges of the 3/8 inch thick mat and install pre punched ground snap holes allowing easy placement of the ground cord kit that is included with your order.
Simply attach the end of the ground cord to either the center screw of an AC Face Plate Cover or ground the cord as stated in your ESD program manual. Each mat is thoroughly tested to the latest ANSI standards.

WHY ARE THESE SUPERIOR?

The problem with ordinary anti-static chair mats is they rely on ambient environmental humidity to render the clear plastic material slightly static conductive. When the humidity is high (and when you need your mats to work the least) they provide a very slow path for the static electricity to be conducted to ground. BUT when the humidity is low (and when you need your mats to work the best) they simply STOP working! In essence they're pretty much electrically insulative, they just don't meet standards for TRUE static control protection and don't meet the stringent requirements of the electronic manufacturing industry, sophisticated networked offices or FAA / 911 control centers, labs or mission critical Military operations.

Note: The first 3 size selections may be shipped via standard UPS however UPS charges extra due to the girth of the packaged shipment. The next size selections (indicated by an asterisk on the drop down size menu) are only available for shipment by motor carrier. When multiple mats are shipped the freight cost (by motor freight carrier) drops significantly. Should your calculated shipping rate be higher than the actual amount charged by the carrier we reimburse this amount to your card. Clients also have the option of shipping on their account upon order placement.
