ElectraBond is used as an intermediate barrier coat between the first coat of cured ElectraGuard ESD Epoxy and the second coat of the epoxy. ElectraBond is used to extend the coverage of the more expensive epoxy and also hide imperfections in the concrete from repairs and variances in concrete texture. ElectraBond is applied with a wax applicator (a lambs wool pad) or a synthetic string mop (a mop that won't leave fibers in the coating). One thin coat, applied to the first coat of the cured ElectraGuard is typically all that is required. Allow the ElectraBond to dry for a minimum of 2 hours prior to applying the subsequent coats of ElectraGuard. TYPICAL COVERAGE: 1,200 to 1,500 square feet per gallon.
