VersaStat

The office I'm in is very dry with a lot of exposed wood beams, and carpet everywhere, a perfect environment for generating a lot of static electricity.  So much static electricity that, when sitting at my desk, there was often a spark when I touched my computer or keyboard.  To prevent this, I ordered a custom-size  VersaStat  mat (8" x 44") and attached it to the front edge of my normal desk chair mat.  When sitting in my chair, I naturally step on the VersaStat now and then just by accident.   This really works!  No more sparks.  It completely eliminates the static!
