This optional hand held test electrode is normally used with the Static Solutions RT-1000 Resistivity Tester. It accurately measures combination resistance values between a person and electrical ground. It's perfect for testing wrist straps as well as the electrical resistance of a person's body in combination with heel grounders and an ESD floor or floor mat (97.1 test method). This electrode is also useful for testing to the new 97.2 test method (must be attached to a Charge Plate Analyzer or similar instrument).

NOTE: Cable not included with the electrode.

  • Designed for use with the RT-1000 and other test instruments
  • Perfect for testing to 97.1 (combination resistance value of technician, heel grounders and esd floor) as well as for testing resistance of wrist straps and wrist strap cords - simply attach the unit to an RT-1000 or similar electrical resistance instrument. Excellent for use when testing to the new 97.2 standards - simply attach to a Charge Plate Analyzer of similar instrument.
